The Model X's falcon wing doors have uniquely curved glass panels that require precise pattern cutting and careful installation. The windows move through a complex arc when opening and closing, so the film must be applied perfectly to avoid catching or peeling at the edges. Our computer-cut patterns are designed specifically for the falcon wing door glass geometry.
The Model X features one of the largest windshields in production — it extends from the traditional windshield area up and over into a partial roof panel. This enormous glass surface lets in considerable sunlight and heat. We can tint the upper roof portion of the windshield while keeping the driver's viewing area at legal VLT levels, or apply a full clear ceramic film across the entire windshield for heat rejection without visibility changes.
With seating for up to seven passengers, the Model X's rear seats are directly under the glass roof panels. Passengers in the second and third rows often complain about heat and sun exposure.
